Hi,

I have followed following link, to access multiple Dynamics NAV databases from a single Dynamics NAV Server computer.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd301437.aspx
I have created the new service with serverport 7080 and webservice port 7081 - I have called the server instance "DynamicsNAV2".

After following above link, I can connect by RTC with "servername:7080/DynamicsNAV2", it works.
The problem is, that I cannot connect to the webservice 7081 - I have tried to get a list of listening ports, and there I found 7080, but not 7081.
I tried in browser "http://servername:7081/DynamicsNav2/WS/services" but got following answear "This page can't be displayed".

Do anyone have any solution?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

Are you using NAV 2009 or 2013 ?
If it's 2009, you may have to start another Windows service.
Look for "Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Web Services" in windows service list.

In 2013, everything is in the same service ;-)

    Hi flerolland,

I'm using NAV 2009 and I have followed the guide, step by step. Can you please help me?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

Did you follow the step by step also for the web service part?
You have a section at the end of the page containing this text: "You can adapt the procedure that is described in this walkthrough to create a second Microsoft Dynamics NAV Web services server on a single computer".

If you did not do that, you can't work with web service.

Arrh now the web service works for me, I have not seen the link.
But now I get a new error, when I try to login to RTC - "Either the caller does not have the required permission or the specified path is read-only". Do you know anything about it?

    Thank you in advance.
