Line Dimensions Not

Hi All,

We have done Migration from NAV R2 to NAV 2013. After that When we try to give Line Dimensions for Sales & Purchase Orders,Invoices Its Not updating. How to resolve this?.

What do you mean by not updating?

Dimensions logic is changed in NAV2013, I hope you know that..

Thanks for your reply. After given values into line dimensions in Sales Invoice,After that its showing empty. what to do?.

Hi Alagar,
Kindly check in the field "Dimension Set ID" value is generated or not in Sales or purchase Orders .
For that field is Presented for Both Header and Line table (Sales /Purchase).
Note:
Compare with your Migrated DB with BASE NAV 2013.
if Header means "ShowDocDim"
If Line means "ShowDimensions" for Both Sales and Purchase
Beceause this functions will generate the Value to "Dimension Set ID".

Hello Guys,
I have the "same" problem, but with different circumstances:
I have created a new NAV 2013 Database, new Company, with master datas; I have also setup default dimension
I have posted few transactions with Dimensions
Now, in table "Dimension Set entry", I have multiples lines with Dimension assigment coming from old transactions. According to the NAV Dimension functionnality, NAV is supposed to search in this table for any combination similar when I try to assign dimension in any transaction (Documents, Worksheets, etc.)
The problem is that, when I assign dimension for a some transactions, the system is not updating with Dimension Set the good ID, He is choosing another Dimension Set ID instead of the one I selected.
I'm running Windows 8 with SQL Server 2012 and Dynamics NAV 2013 on the single computer
Can someone helps please.
