I am following the tutorial at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... 0(v=nav.70).aspx and at step 5 of section "To configure the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server instance to use SSL" it instructs you to:
To configure SOAP web services to use SSL [open Microsoft Dynamics NAV Administration], expand the SOAP Web Services tab, and then select the Enable SSL option.
Make a note of the port that is used by SOAP web services. You will need the port number later on in this walkthrough.
However when I tick Enable SSL and try to save the configuration, I get this error message:
Changing the value for that enables SSL for OData- or SOAP- services are not supported. See
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee414212.aspx for more details.
That link goes to an article on NAV 2009 which doesn't really explain why I can't enable SSL.
I am running the base install of NAV 2013 with no hotfixes but I looked at the hotfixes and couldn't see any that related to SSL.
Can anyone tell me why I am getting this error?
