Nav 2013 installation error

Hi

I'm trying to install Nav 2013. I have window 7 and MS Sql server 2008 R2 in my local system.

i have mentioned the error below:

Microsoft Dynamics NAV Build 33781
Error Report
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Express
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 - Express
Not installed because of missing prerequisites.
This version of Windows is not supported by SQL Server 2012 Express.
SQL Server Database Components
Cronus Sample Database for Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Fatal error during installation.

Could not connect to the SQL database. (-2147467259 master ). This can be caused by insufficient permissions. Indirect permissions through Windows group memberships may not work as expected when User Account Control (UAC) is turned on.

Maybe you shouldn't install SQL 2012 Express option.

I checked again. i didn't install sql server 2012. but Demo Database doesn't create. Again the same error is showing.

hi Kavi,

This version of Windows is not supported by SQL Server 2012 Express.

Which Operating System you are trying? Windows XP / Windows 7(32 bit) / Windows 7 (64 Bit). Professional/Home Edition.

IF Operating System is Windows 7 64 Bit Professional then try installing customize option and Keep SQL SERVER INSTANCE as BLANK.
* The Default value in this field is NAVDEMO.

Let me know if you have any issues.

Mohana already i tried to install Demo. I got the same error. Now i tried to install which you have given the you tube link.

I have given the error below:

i think so you have also given the same way for installation. But its showing you do not have permission. How to rectify this issue.

Hi,

Login to SQL Server CEM27 with Database Login (sa which is normally an administrator) OR with a Windows SQL Admin account.

Change right of your User ID.

Server Role - SysAdmin.

Then Try Re-installing the NAV 2013.

Change rights of your User ID.

Usser ID -Server Role - SysAdmin.

i have two different user id in my sql. One is system name, Anther one is domain name. The second one doesn't have server role permission. this is the problem.

Mr.Saurav has mentioned the previous mail. That is exact solution for this issues.
