How to register today's date with every transaction

Hi,

My objective is to register today's date with each transaction we post, like warehouse receipt, purchase receipt, sales order shipment, sales order invoicing , credit memos and any GL posting. users can change posting date and some times they want to post back dated but I need to know which date exactly they performed the task?

is there any standard way or any idea for customization??

You can check the "Creation Date" field in G/L Register/Item Register/Warehouse Registers..where it will store the System date.

This is one of the most common misunderstandings in NAV. Especially in Germany most people misinterpret the meaning of Posting Date. Maybe because its caption/translation is confusing. Posting Date was never designed to show the date of the posting. It shows more or less some kind of value date of the posting. If you want to know when exactly (which point in time) something was posted then you can see it in the registers.
