Hi all,
I accept this is silly question but i just want to know if there is any tips and tricks to connect Existing SQL Database form NAV?
I have a hugh database developed in MSSql which takes hugh time for data migration those data are quiet confidential and we have to migrate those data in very short time. If there is any such tricks to make this work?

Thanks

Please explain what you mean by "we have to migrate those data".

We have to migrate existing data of MS-SQL(Existing system's) database to Dynamics NAV 2009. Finally using SSIS tool for Data migration. But I still do not know whether there is any way to connect a previous existing Ms-SQL database form NAV or not.

I take it that "existing system" is not NAV. If that's the case, be sure you properly validate data to NAV standards. Things like no lowercase in CODE fields come to mind. SSIS will allow stuff like this, that won't be acceptable in NAV.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

To answer your first question.. NAV client cannot connect to any external database.
