Hi all. I am trying to modify report 10040 Aged Accounts Receivable, specifically the LAYOUT. I have added some fields and so I need to squeeze the columns down a bit but I have run into the following problem (it is present in a pristine Cronus database). The rightmost four columns in Table1 (specifially, the columns containing ColumnHead_2, ColumnHead_3, ColumnHead_4, and Currency Code) are linked together with a collective minimum width, which seems to be 8.22 cm. Each of them can be widened without limit, but when one is contracted, another will expand to prevent the four together from being less than 8.22cm wide. It is maddening. I have beat my head against this for hours and I can't find any property in the columns or it the table that seems to control this. None of the other columns in the table seems to have such a limit.
Another question, possibly related: when I select these four columns in turn, keeping an eye on the properties window, I see that one of them ('ColumnHead_2) seems to have a completely different set of properties from the others. What's the reason for this difference, and how is that controlled?
Thanks for any help!
Chandler
