Affect filters on PagePart with SubFormLink

Hi,
I'm having problems setting filters on a PagePart.
There's a SubFormLink containing two fields which only one of them has a value initially.
In the calling page the user can set value to the SubFormLink filed that has no value and it works fine.
The problem is when i start the page and the second field doesn't have any value. I try to set filter in the PagePart, but no trigger or function does the trick.
I have tried to use FILTERGROUP(4), but with no affect.
Anyone who knows how to do this?
