I have a customer that runs Nav 5.1 under SQL.. His fat client work stations are a hodge podge of Windows XP and Windows 7 machines..
He has been having this problem for months with the Windows 7 work stations only....
He sent me this...
we are all getting an error in Navision
“You cannot use this file
C:\User\username.NEWSLINKGROUP\AppData\Local\Temp\__TEMP__.BTC
Because it is already in use.”
This comes out frequently to everyone and Navision then stops working or restarts. Some uses are not able to login ever again on a particular PC
It is appears to always be a TEMP file in the message, but the temp file name varies
The customer states that this message usually appears when a user does something that causes a navision program to issue an error message, or when logging onto Navision the key an incorrect password.... Not always, but usually..
Anyone have any ideas?

Any command line options used?
32-bit OS?
TEMP folder on a local disk with full access to the user?
Tried with malware scanner deactivated?
Thanks!
