NAV 5.0 SP1 Windows 8 installation error 1935

Anyone successfully running NAV 5.0 SP1 on Windows 8? My customer is reporting an Error 1935 I've seen in forums related to Windows 7 but nothing on Windows 8. We have installed Visual C++. and we get the same error. Does it matter what version of Visual C++? That's the only other thing I can think of. I am guessing that if it does work, it's supported so if you guys don't know Microsoft won't help.
