Call RDL Report from Classic

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to call an RDL report from Classic Client without opening the RTC client.
If I try to run the command
DynamicsNAV:////runreport?report=ReportId

It opens the report but also opens the RTC client, I would like to skip this, and just open the Request Page from the Report, is this possible?

In my opinion it's not possible.

Not possible, but you could expose the RDLC report as and WebService and then have the report shown in Internet Explorer.

Thank you for input!

That's nice approach, will definitely try that. The aim is to output the report on Excel, but the procedure should be the same. I'll give it a try.
