Hidden tables in layout use space?

Hello,

I wondered, do tables that are in total, hidden: true (not per line: hidden true, but per table), do they use space in the list1?

The Sales Quote report should fit on 1 page, but takes 2 pages. I find, with colloring the list1 background, that the list1 is bigger than one page.

Do tables that have an expression in the hidden field use space if hidden?

Hi,

I think every table should have a filter expression in the RTC Layout. Which hides the space if the filter condition is not met.

Check for the standard tables in RTC Report. you will find an filter expression in every table.

Try using one and let me know.

Thanks for the tip. I did not want the hidden tables to show, but wanted to save them for later use (customer could change his mind about F.i. VAT values).

Then it is more useful to enter an Hidden: "expression that is never True" instead of Hidden : "True."
I deleted the hidden tables from the layout, but for a situation in the future I'll remember this.
