Navision 5.0 SP1 : Wrong number format from Dataport to CSV

MMVMMV Member Posts: 99
Hi,

I am using a dataport to export some data to CSV file. The issue is the number values are displayed as e.g.: 8.7101E+12 (in CSV file). I am using

FieldStartDelimiter as <">
FieldEndDelimiter as <">
FieldSeperator as <,>.

How can display the data correctly (as per the above example it should be 8710103523727? :-k

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
MMV

I assume you open your csv file in Excel and Excel formats/displays your values. So, you should either tell Excel to format in another way or use another tool to open your csv file.

    Hi,

    Thanx for the reply.

Yes, I opened the CSV file in the Excel application. Is there any way I can export the data correctly (may be as an Excel file, not as a CSV format)?

    Thanks in advance.

You don't understand it. The data is correctly in the file. Just open your CSV-file with notepad and see for yourself. It's Excel that displays something else. So you need to adjust the formatting in Excel, not in the file.
