Demo Installation Error;Error No:1606

Hi tro All.
While doing my Demo Installation of Axapta, After installation of MSDE, I'm getting a Error

Error 1606. Could not access network Location C:\Program Files\Msde

I have made sure that Msde is not installed prior to the installation

Installation continues and application and client got installed. But I cant open the Axapta, Its giving the following Error

SQL has reported the following error

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data Source Name not found and no default driver specified.Connect information was Userid=[bmssa],Database=[AXDB], Server=local,DSN=[Local Server],Otehr=[]

Please give a solution,

Hi,

As you probably found out by now, this error indicates that Axapta could not find the DSN.

Try to create a system DSN under Control panel -> Admin Tools -> ODBC datasource administrator. This DSN should connect to the Axapta database (AXDB) in MSDE.

Once the above is done, try to specify the same in Axapta configuration utility.
