Upgrade 3.70B > 4.0 native database Problem

1. Backup 3.6 database
2. Restore in 4.0 on new database
3. Import Upgrade370400.1.fob in 3.70
4. Run Form Upgrade-old and click transfer data
5. click delete object

I dont understand that :

6. Import the new customized objects created in the compare and merge process -

I do at this point export all object from 3.70 and import to 4.0 but i gues its wrong because it didn't work
Can anybody explain me that?

I write the next 2 point. Correct me if is bad

7.Compile all object in 4.0
8.import Upgrade370400.2 in 4.0 and click transfer data

I think i can handle rest of procedure

ad 6. - it means objects from 4.00 with all customization from 3.70B you made... (this modifications are transfered to new objects with process called merging...) because if you only import objects from 3.70, you will have 3.70 application in 4.00 client - it means that it will be only C/SIDE (technical) upgrade... and in these you do not need make all the steps (only reinstall client and open the database with the new client)....
