Setting the multi-line property in a textbox does not seam to work. How can you get a text box to show multi lines? Can you create a drop down multi-line text box? Can you create a textbox with more than 250 characters? Is their another way to create a word wrap text entry screen?

If you look in the download section, you'll find several text-editors that you can call directly from C/SIDE. There is no possibility to this this directly in Navision.

Give the textbox enough height to display more than one line, set multi-line property to true, and it will wrap the text. But when entering text, or editing, it looks rather funny - single line of text and the cursor is full height of textbox.

No, drop down is not possible.
Up from Navision (Attain) 3.0, your text variables can have 1024 characters.
Alternative entry - see Luc's post.
