Maximum size of excel generated from NAV

Hi,
What would be the maximum size and number of lines of excel file that can be generated from NAV 2009?. Number of line setup is 'Max. no. of XML records to send'?. It is set as 5000 in our company, but excel with 80000 lines are getting generated without any issue using print-to-excel' functionality.
