Field Group - Crash after changing default column

We've added a new field to the drop down field group of a the item table.
Works fine.
But...
When a certain user changes the default column to this field, Navision crashes when the user starts typing.
The change is logged in the Page Data Personalization table. After deleting this record, the dropdown works again.
Anyone who has experienced this or something similar?
How can this be resolved? How can we be sure this won't happen to other users?
