Hi,

On the inventory setup there is a boolean named Trading Location, and on the other setup there is a field on which if value "Trading" is selected then, the issue is on opening item list in any lookup of any form, for eg: if we book a PO on its subform if we lookup for item no. then only trading items must be marked and then among them any one can be selected. On the item list there is Gen. Prod Posting Group, having Trading as a option.

How this can be done... ](*,)

On db open according to location wise then on any particular location if we have a boolean named Trading Location which is set to true for that particular location, and if we create new field on the Inventory setup form on which we select such item whose Gen. Prod Posting Grp is Trading in its lookup.

Now we create a new PO and select Type as Item,and on clicking the lookup of No., the list that opens must show only those items whose Gen Prod. posting Grp is Trading based on the setup selections done above.

what did you try to achieve it?

I guess the guy want to create a new Boolean field (named TRADING LOCATION) in LOCATION card.
Then when he wants to make any Purchase Order for this LOCATION (for which TRADING LOCATION is ticked) then when he lookup on ITEM the list displaying should contain only those ITEMS which have Gen. Prod Posting Grp as TRADING...

Trading Location field is already available in location table (Indian Localization)
You can look into Security Filters functionality. That would be the only way to allow specific access to a table based on a field in that table.
