Hi,
I have a boolean field on Item card named Xyz. I create a PO, with an item, on which that boolean is yes, then the send for approval and approval
process must work. But i create a PO with an item on which the boolean is false,then on clicking Send for approval, a message must pop up saying
Check Direct Unit Cost.

For this i have written the following code on the Send for approval Menuitems

REPEAT
PurchLine.TESTFIELD(Quantity);
ItemRec.SETRANGE(ItemRec."No.",PurchLine."No.");
IF ItemRec."Client Material" = FALSE THEN BEGIN
PurchLine.TESTFIELD("Direct Unit Cost");

IF ItemRec."Client Material" = TRUE THEN;

I want if that boolean is True then the send for approval process must go smoothly including the Approve part, and if False
it must pop up a msg. So for that i have used Testfield function. What could be the other way for it

can't see a findset, findfirst, find('-') or even get in your code.

You obviously setting filter on item record, but not retrieving it from DB.

I'll advice to read programming guide - the mistake you did is too basic
