Qty. Picked when refreshing production orders

On the Prod. Order Component Line, if the user creates a pick and registers the pick, the field "Qty. Picked" gets populated.
However, let's say for whatever reason, the user needed to refresh the released production order, this "Qty. Picked" gets reset to 0.
Anyone found a way around it other than programming?
