Problem printing checks

I have a problem printing checks. It only happens on one workstation. I am running Attain 3.10b. The workstation was recently upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP. This error happened in Windows 98 also, and I thought that might have been the problem. Suggest vendor payments is initiated. Navision will change the document no. to the checks no.'s and then it gets hung up on a check that has 6 invoices to print on it. It tells me "There must be no in the Gen. Journal Line" I was able to get all the other checks printed by deleting that one. The weird thing is Navision thinks it printed the check but the printer won't print it and the error comes up.
Anyone else have this problem?

were you able to reprint that check seperately?

do you get this error all the time or just occasionally?

I was able to print the check but not on the workstation that was upgraded last week. I could print it through my laptop which is also running Windows XP. We used to get the problem when the workstation was Windows 98 (or NT can't remember) that is why it was upgraded. The support center from the company we bought Navision from (BMI) told me to delete the zup file on that workstation but that only fixed the problem temporarily.

was it a full "Clean" installation of XP? or one of those upgrade disks? (nothing like a clean installation  )

Since it seems to be that one computer it sounds like a uninstall & reinstall of the client should be done & why not throw in deleting the printers too & reinstalling them also.

It was a full install - a whole new computer. We swapped the old workstation for a new one. I'll reinstall the client and see what happens. thanks for your help :-k
