Dear experts,
I have created a Recordref and want to validate a related fieldref. But during the field validation, I want to skip part of the codes.
As if I use Record but not Recordref, I can do so by creating a simple function inside the Record. Such as:
****************************
Record.ByPassCheck
Record.VALIDATE(Field,{value});
****************************
with Function: ByPassCheck
**********************
blByPassCheck:=TRUE;
**********************
with Validate of the field:
*************************
//Run the code only when ByPassCheck is not executed
IF NOT blByPassCheck THEN
BEGIN
---something---
END;
*************************
Such approach is okay in Record to allow me skipping part of the validation code. But, is such kind of behaviour possible as if it is a recordref?
Thanks in advance for your advise!

Thanks for rmv_RU's idea, it works perfect on Recordref!

You can use single instance codeunit to set and get the SetHideValidationDialog property.
Sample Scenario:
1. Create single instance codeunit (si) and functions (SetHideValidationDialog and GetHideValidationDialog)
2. Add following code to the SalesHeader.InitRecord function:
if not HideValidationDialog then
HideValidationDialog:=Si.GetHideValidationDialog;
3. Set the si.SetHideValidationDialog(true) before calling import routline.
