Hi
I have a strange issue. When adding, deleting a user, also when trying to sync we get this error:
15138,"42000",[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]The database principal owns a schema in the database, and cannot be dropped.
I have found this, but its not fully clear to me:
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=48458
NAV 2009R2, SQL Server 2008R2.
As far as I understand, it is about orphaned logins and/or schemas. What would be the best approach to get rid of the problem? What to check step by step?
Help greatly appreciated
Regards
Thomas

I started sql profiler and started synch again in nav. Profiler shows the bad user.
I deleted the users schema, the synch was successful then. After that, I deleted the user and recreated it again. Btw: It was a service user for the MiddleTier, after deleting and recreating the user I had to recreate the schema [$ndo$navlistener] again.
