Nav 2009 SP1 - Nav 2009 R2 Upgrade

Hi All,

I am currently preparing for a Nav Upgrade from Nav 2009 SP1 to Nav 2009 R2. I am reviewing the documents and found the following points:

You can install Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 as a solution upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1. A solution upgrade is compatible with data, databases, objects, and web services that you have already implemented in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1.

After you complete a solution upgrade, your Microsoft Dynamics NAV application should work as expected with the new Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 components. You do not automatically get the following new application functionality that is available in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2:
•Connector for Microsoft Dynamics
•Online Services for Microsoft Dynamics ERP
•System Indicator

I have the following Questions:

1.If I do not want the above three functionalities, then I will not require any code merge for Upgrade. Please confirm this is TRUE. If not, Please provide the solution/recommendation/suggestion.
2.What it the Nav 2009 SP1 Database being upgraded have add-ons implemented.

Have you done the upgrade?

Please let me know what procedure you fallowed to upgrade from Navision 2009 sp1 to navision 2009 r2 about solution not the objects.

I want to do only solution upgrade.
