Document page problem

Hello,
I'm coming from V3 so I don't know about all new things in Nav 2013
I created 2 tables :
TableA = Header (key field = No.)
TableB = Lines (key fields = No. , Item No.) - on field No. I put a tablerelation with tableA
Then I created a simple page1 of type "list" to make the subform
and a page2 of type "document" to show a header with his lines
The problem is that with page2 I'm unable to insert a new record ! :
When adding a new line, the No. field populates correctly, I can enter what I want for the Item Number : When I exit and come back the record I tried to create got lost.
Perhaps I missed something because I'm not yet familiar with pages - is there a great difference with what we did on old versions ?
