Change Local Currency of Company

One of my companies in Nav 5.0 has been operating for a number of years using CAD as the 'Local Currency'. Other currencies defined are EURO, USD, and JPY.
A request has been made to change the Local currency to Euro.

I went into the General Ledger setup card and changed the LCY from CAD and made the change to EURO, but after the change. A quick review of G/L balances and running a Trial Balance detail/Summary showed that there was no difference.

Is it possible and How do I effectively change the operating Local Currency from CAD to EURO and have the change reflected throughout?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

unfortunately, it's not that easy. Changing the local currency is possible, you would need to use the euro conversion tool for the conversion. The tool is available on partner source.

That process takes a long long time.
