4.0 .netframework not found (Deploying RTC by Active Directo

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with my NAV 2013 deployment problems.

Currently i have done the following:

1. I am trying to deploy nav in a client-server environment so I installed 2 VMs for the server (WinServer2008R2x64) and for the client (Win7Professionalx32). Both in the same domain network.
2. I have installed Active Directory in the server and created a GPO having the .msi of NAV RTC linked to it and i have the deployment settings as "Published"
3. Now, my Client VM can see the program in the Add or Remove programs list for it to be installed but when i try to install it, it shows the ff: message

***"The .NET Framework 4.0 was not found on this machine. Please install this before you install the product."

I have installed the 4.0 .Net Framework (and is available in the computers Programs list in Control Panel) and as well as the other prerequisite applications from the folder in the NAV 2013 installer but still i get the same message.

What i just did is i copied the RoleTailoredClient folder from the NAV2013 installer and i directly run the .msi installer package of RTC in the Client computer and it worked just fine so definitely the .msi package is ok.

I don't know why it can't detect the 4.0 .net framework i have installed. can you help me?

PS:
***Just in case I am able to successfully install the .msi, how can i be able to preconfigure the client installation? (to specify Server name and not include the Developer environment and admin tool etc.)

you need Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5

is on the dvd Dynamics.NAV70.NA.1184421.DVD.zip\Prerequisite Components\Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5

Hi Ara3n,

I have installed 4.5 already and is under my programs list but i still get the same message.
