remaining qty. 0 but item not used and no entry applied

hello every body

i am using NAV2009R2. we saw an item transaction, in this the total of Qty. Field = 200 nos. so that the stock is 200 nos. but when we calculate the total of remaining qty. then we find 186 nos.

when we go in detail, i find a positive entry that qty. = 800 and remaining qty. is 0 Nos. but its apply entry, total of 'Applied Qty.' field = 786.

How is it possible,

I've seen this only once before on 2009SP1 (out of millions of transactions), and have no idea how it occurred. Your situation may be completely different, but the only way we could fix it was to manually edit the item ledger entry quantities. Be very careful if you attempt that type of fix.
