Migrating data from Great Plains Dos 9.5

I have a prospect that is wanting to convert 5 years of history from the 9.5 dos version of Great Plains to Navision. It seems that the only way they are able to extract data is saving reports in a text file which is close to useless.
Does anyone know of a way or some existing routines or add-on software that can extract the data in a more friendly electronic format?
