Post Recurring journal

When trying to post a recurring journal we get an error "Gen Posting Type must not be in Gen Journal Line Journal Template: "Recurring", Journal Batch Name="Recurring" line no.=10000.
None of the lines have got a General posting type. Then I tried to put the posting types on all the lines and then I got a different error. This time it said "The VAT posting group does not exist. Identification fields and values : VAT Bus posting group "NOBAS", VAT Prod posting group=""
The VAT posting combination is not setup in this company but I have copied this database as a test company and I dont have the VAT posting setup in that company as well but I can post the journal in the test company.
What am I missing here?

Dont worry guys..sorted this out..there was GL account that was changed after the initial entry and that added a VAT posting group which was not present on all the other lines. When we manually populated other entries with that VAT posting group it all posted fine. Thanks
