Hello, I have not yet installed NAV 2013 but I have downloaded the Help Toolbox and I am reading through the Help Toolbox guide. I have few questions that I cannot figure out from the guide or find answers online and I am hoping that someone with the experience in NAV 2013 will be able to answer:
1. It seems that there help files need to be installed on each client computer, in addition to installing .hh file in the Service folder (on the machine where NAV server is installed.) So every time there is a change, updated files will have to be copied to each client machine? Is there a way to set some kind of distribution were all client machines will be updated automatically from one central location if there is a change?
2. Is help available for NAV 2013 web client? If so, what does the development/customization process look like?
3. I can see instructions about including screenshots and visio charts into help files. Is it possible to add (how –to) videos?
We have customized NAV substantially for our clients and we need to make help available, so we are researching what the help customization process will look like once we upgrade to NAV 2013 and what are all options available.
