Language Translation Query

Dear all,

I have imported the japanese language translation file using the following path.

Tools -> Translate -> Import. So Now I can able to see the CaptionML propert having both ENG as well as Japanese language. When I try to open the Tools -> Language, I cannot see the japanese language here.

If anyone knows the reason for why I could not find the japanese language in the Tools -> Language, Kindly let me know.

Thanks in advnace.

Regards,
chandru.

You need to put the JPN folder with all the files just like ENU in the classic folder. If you don't have it you can copy ENU and rename it.
You also need it have Japanese language in your license.

You put it in the RTC folder. And it's two folders JPY and another 4 leter folder for RTC.
It usually is mentioned in the config file.

    Hi ara3n,

Thank you . Now I can able to see the caption changes to japanese in developer environment. But when I try to open the RTC version of NAV 2013, I can still only able to see only english language and not Japanese language. If you know how to bring the Japanese language into NAV 2013 RTC , kindly let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

    chandru.

follow the steps on the blog and do them for NAV 2013. I don't know if they have released the localization project. You'll have to search for it on partnersource.
