I have a purchased item that has two open sales orders for it for a total of 16 pieces. We have zero stock, and nothing on a purchase order. So basically we have to order some. So, on the SKU card for that location we have a Reordering Policy of Fixed Reorder Qty, safety stock of 10, Reorder Qty of 20. I run the planning worksheet for that item, for the proper location, and make sure the sales order dates are within the start and stop dates for the worksheet. I was expecting to see a requirement for 20 pieces on the worksheet. I get nothing. Very frustrating. Can somone point me in the right direction.....

Finally, check partnersource (or get your partner to) - there have been numerous hotfixes for planning issues, especially in NAV5 and 2009 (pre-SP1 mostly) including some specifically related to fixed reorder policy.
