Change to Codeunit 1 - MakeDateText for RTC

I am trying to change the MakeDateText function in Codeunit 1. I would like it to accept other options besides W and T for WORKDATE and TODAY. I can successfully do this in the Classic Client, but not in the RTC. I get an error that what I enter is not an acceptable value / valid date.

I have been told, but not been able to verify, that the service tier has been restarted and that did not solve the issue. I thought this might be needed to force an update of Codeunit 1, just like you have to exit and re-enter in Classic. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I've had the same issue trying to modify the codeunit 1 triggers for use with RTC - they just don't seem to get called reliably or at all (played with it for at least 30 minutes and couldn't figure out the pattern/logic to how they were called). So no answer from me, just some emotional support ;)

If you figure it out, let me know.

I know that in NAV2009 this trigger is not called for some date filter fields, like in report request pages! Even standard parameters like for period do not work! I don't know if this issue is resolved in NAV2013. As far as i remember, if you create a field on the options tab, and handle the filter entering manually, then it works.

2013 has the same issues as 2009 wrt to not invoking the triggers in any sort of understandable way (at least for me). The only difference I could see in 2013 is that they've refactored codeunit 1 a bit into different codeunits (which is nice).
