Grouping report by month

I need group my report by Month - month it's variable,

how i can do this??

When i filtering in Request Filter Fields in the Date filter i need group my report by Month:

I write something like this:


month:=DATE2DMY(Date,2);
CASE month OF
1: m := 'Jan';
2: m:= 'Fab';
3: m:= 'March';
4: m:= 'April';
....
ELSE;
END;

What will happen if the date is Jan 2011 and Jan 2012..?

Thanks Mohana, but if i want compile i have error in this line:

SETRANGE("Vehicle Card Line"."Date",Date."Period Start",Date."Period End");

Communicat: the variable is not a record mibuso. 'Variable.Field' is invalid

Are you sure you are getting error at this line only..
did you try

SETRANGE("Date",Date."Period Start",Date."Period End");

Yes, after communicate cursor set after DataItem - Date --> Look in the attachment

Did you add Date as a dataitem in report or not?

Yes, Date is a DataItem in my report, but i not commplete properties data items--> mayby this is a problem?

You should not use Date as a field name in your table as its a reserved word in navision..
