Problems Sending to excel (2013)

edited 2012-11-30 in NAV Three Tier
NAV 2013, "normal" client.
In the sales orders page, send to microsoft excel, i get one excel file with no rows.
If i edit one concrete sales order and send to microsoft excel, i get one excel file with all the correct information.
What am i doing wrong?

P.D: if i send to microsoft word, all works fine.

Looks like a bug to me. If NAV is able to send the data to Word why not to Excel?

An alternative which you can use to get the data into an excel sheet, is select all the records, then copy and paste into excel.. :)

I made it. For me it´s ok.
But to show it to the end user...

Make sure you activate the Excel add-in for NAV.

    1. Go to Options in Excel, then select the "Add-Ins" option page.
    2. At the bottom where is says "Manage", select COM Add-Ins
    3. Make sure the checkbox for the NAV add-in set

If the NAV add-in isn't there, run the NAV installer again.

PS - the NAV add-in lets you refresh exports from NAV without having to re-export the data.

Great! Once NAV Add-in is enabled in Excel it works.

    Thanks!
