You do not have permission to read the SMTP Mail Setup table

Hi,

I've inherited an ASP.NET website that updates Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1 via web services. The website run's on the companies internal servers. The website services over 200 user's but only one of them get's the above message. The error occurs when the user tries to send a timesheet rejection email (all the timesheet processes are bespoke).

I've done a google but can't find anything that points me in the right direction.

Has anyone come across this before or know of a solution.

Sorry if this is a bit vauge but I'm very new to all of this :)

    Did you make sure that the user has permission to the table?

    In NAV: Tools->Security->Windows Security->Roles and under each role you will find all the tables
