Closing Production Order Issues

I am hoping someone can lend me a hand with closing released production orders in Nav 3.60.

I am forward flushing all components, and I have no routing.

When I have a production order that I have posted only scrap to (my finished quantity is zero), it will not let me change my released production order to a finished production order. It tells me:

"You cannot finish line 10000 on production order XXXXXX. It has consumption or capacity posted with no output."

In order to close these production orders, I have to post an output of any quantity (I use 1), and then change the status to finished. I then have to adjust out that quantity of the finished item in an item journal, which is horrific in both statistics and number of steps.

Please let me know if there is a fix or if I am doing something wrong.
