Edit List Action has diappeared - resolved!

Hi - we have created a custom page that is a list. The customer wanted to customize his Actions menu by moving "Refresh" up. After he did this, the option to "Edit List" disappeared from the page, so he is no longer able to edit the data on the lines. I was able to replicate the problem on a standard page (Page 10, Countries/Regions). Just wondering if anyone has seen this and knows how we might fix it? I have already tried using "Restore Defaults" and re-importing/re-compiling the custom page object.

Hi All - posting the resolution to this in case anyone else runs into it. We had to go into Table 2000000075, User Metadata, and delete the record for the page that had the problem. This brought back our "Edit List" Action. However, there is the limitation that the user cannot move "Refresh" up as he wanted to (or make any change in Customize Actions). We decided to put a "Refresh" button on the Action Pane for him.
