looking for a thread... "role of nav consultant"

There is an old thread I am trying to find. It started out as an innocent question and then got hijacked into a discussion of the role of a consultant, and how we are normally from a developing background, so when a problem comes our way, the first reaction is to start coding. but many times that's not really the best idea. I wanted to share it with our new employees, but I can't find it!

That is a good thread.
The one I am looking for is different though. I remember it started out not as a Nav general discussion... (I'm pretty sure, not totally)

I did search through my posts.
I saw that one Savatage unfortunately that one wasn't it either.

It had a certain angry rant element to it. I mean that as a compliment. hehe
