Hello
NAV 2013 supports unicode. So that you can enter Chinese Greek and english alphabet in same db. But what about Captions. Can a chinese and Korean and English and Russian translation be all in the same db?

Thanks.

The next challenge now that we have Unicode, is the fact that we need to choose a collation for sorting per database. That still makes it challenging to implement NAV in a single database for multiple countries that have more than 1 collation.

The unicode is only for data. With captions it is still same. Until the dev environment will be changed, we cannot expect some change here... (still stick to the old limits).

Will it be possible in next version of NAV?

I have seen the roadmap but there isn't any info on development side of NAV. Why is that?

You can try, it should work. If you enter the caption in dev env when the language for non-unicode applications is set correctly, it should display it correctly in the RTC. But I never tested that (I am not using lao... :-))
