Subcontracting Receipts - Item Tracking for Raw Materials

Dear All,

In Subcontracting Order, while receiving the raw materials instead of finished goods, an error pops up "Assign the lot no. for the item no.".

Kindly advice the setup for the lot no. for raw material.

Note: For Finished Goods the lot no. is setup while receiving using Manual Flushing, Routing Link in BOM and Routing and additional Work Center in Routing.

It should be there in ITEM CARD of your raw material...

Thank you for the reply, but as the raw material has lot no. but my requirement is whether there is any setup for raw material receiving in subcontracting order similar to finished good receiving in subcontracting order.

Which version of Navision you are using ?

Item Tracking functionality for raw material in Subcontracting is available in Nav 2009 sp1. If you are using any previous version than
Nav 2009 sp1 then It is not available and you have to customize it.

Thank you for the reply. The Nav version is Nav 4.0 SP3.

I used the work around solution of Item Tracking Code > Lot No. Information Tab > tick off Transfer Lot Tracking.
