Hello All Experts

Can you guide me for this question? Now I'm trying to upgrade customize objects and would like to transfer some data which is collect in customize table only (It was ..... Ledger Entry) not at all and they have relation with ledger entry dimension that was obsolete in NAV2013. Actually I try to used the tools that microsofts provide but there is no any filters
,it must be transfer data of all table.

So please advise me how to move some data from NAV2009R2 To NAV2013 for this case.

Thank in advance for every guidance

Cheers,

Can you expand a bit on how the table had a relation to the "Ledger Entry Dimension" table?
If your table just has a simple table-number + entry-number relation to it, then it should be sufficient to add a new "Dimension Set ID" field to your ledger table (just copy the "Dimension Set Entry" field (field 480) from one of the standard ledger entry tables and add it to your table (it doesn't have to be numbered 480). When you then run the upgrade tool, the tool should be able to update your table automatically, as the "Ledger Entry Dimension" table points to your table in the "Table No." field.

Let me know if it helps.

    Hi Again:

Well; I am not 100% sure what your objective is, but if it is a partial upgrade, I suggest that you write some custom code, to upgrade the table. I still cannot understand why it cannot be upgraded as part of the normal upgrade.

    Thanks,

Thanks for your suggestion, For about this "why it cannot be upgraded as part of the normal upgrade" ,Yes, I think so. But this is requirements from my boss. I think modified some custom code is the good way but I don't want to modify the tools from microsoft for this time, Anyway I will try to import following step that microsoft provide even though it might be doesn't work.

Thank you so much, BardurKnudsen. =D>
