RTC connection issues

Hi Everyone,

I am a dynamicsuser.net user for few years. I just joined Mibuso today. I have not asked this question there and will not too.

I have 3 tier environment here. SQL server standard R2 on one server, NAV services on another server and RTC clients.
I have been running with a RTC connection issue. My production server is working fine. I restored another database using a backup copy of production server. I have setup a NAV service for this new database that I have restored.

I have RTC client installed on the server that has NAV services running. When I use RTC from this server to use newly restored database it just connects fine and I could work like shown below:

From a client on PC it errors out with the following error:
ConnectionSuccess.PNG

    Try to run NAV Service on Client PC with user who has rights to access Server database and check it.

    Could you provide me the reason for doing this please? Why client could not just use the service running on middle tier?
