NAV 7 report Querry

Hi,

In NAV 7, if i Run Report No 405 i.e. order. after preview this report if i click on Item No. with help of that can i run another report with passing this parameter.

for e.g. in Preview of Report No 405
Item 1 XYZ
item 2 ABC

if i click on Item 1 then my Item Substitutions report for Item 1 will be create.

is it possible, if yes then how ? becoz in RDLC text box property i see option Report Link. i dont know how to use it.

Hi Amol,

report 405 Prints all the values in the lines, so first you need to make conditional like which will only prints in case of Item. Otherwise in case of G/L Account, FA, Item Charge e.t.c the hyperlink will try to run the report. I hope you understand what i am trying to say.

Now when you have a row in Report which only get printed in case of Item, go the the TEXTBOX Properties of the field on which you want Hyperlink. Suppose i use Item No. the first text box.

In the textbox properties goto ACTIONS and select Go To URL. select Fx and enter below Code -

="DynamicsNAV:////runreport?report=5701&filter=Item.Field1:"+Fields!No_PurchLine.Value

Save the Report Layout and Try to Run the Report.
