Side by installation of NAV versions

Hi
Just a quick question. I know it is possible to have more than 1 NAV version on one machine, no problem for that.
What I was not aware, the installer of NAV 2009R2 does not even ask about old versions, it simple deinstalls it. Can you confirm that? If I remember correctly, older versions (5 SP1?) did ask to replace or keep the old version, didn't they?
Thx in advance
Thomas

It was never a linear progression. There was at least one version of 4.00 that simply forced an uninstall as well, then back again.

I always just make a copy of all the Install folders for each version, run the new install,a nd then put all the original files back in their folders and things work (Classic client of course).
