Hey all, it's been a while since I worked with the WMS module, especially turning on functionality post-implementation, so I have a couple of quick questions (Version 2009 R2, by the way):
1. I've only been able to test this a little, but it seems like turning "Require Shipment" on and off for a location can be done at will... what I mean by that is it doesn't seem like once things have been Whse. Shipped it prevents you from turning it off and going back to Sales Shipping... is that correct?
2. Anyone using WMS with Lanham E-Ship? We have it working with Sales Shipments just fine right now... is it crazy hard to configure it to work with Warehouse Shipments?
Thanks, I'm just trying to get a high-level overview of any potential pitfalls.

1. You can turn "Require Shipment" off at any time, as long as there are no open Whse. Shipment headers.
And ask another!:
3. It appears that there's a bug or our database is broken, but I can't imagine it's in standard NAV... When I have "Require Shipment" selected, and I go through the process of a Sales Order, I get the warnings I would expect when I pick the bin on the line as well as the serial number, and Qty. to Ship, but I'm able to release and post the shipment as if the previously mentioned option wasn't on... WHAT? What's the point?
Can anyone verify that this works in a standard database?

I can't imagine a situation where you'd want to require a warehouse shipment, but allow people to so easily circumvent the rule... I just did it with a non-tracked item so I literally just had to put a number in the "Qty. to Ship" and ignore a few warning messages.
