We use NAV 6 R2 and NAV web services.
When large sales orders from the website are entered, NAV application users experience blocking driven by the service account running NAV web services.
The table which is most often the blocked resource is the Document Dimension table.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues, and what was the solution? Thank you very much. Chris

Another solution would be to use an XMLPort exposed via function parameter in WebService. Then you can try to pre-buffer dimension in the XMLPort's logic. Such pre-buffered dimensions could be written into the Document Dimension table in one go at the end of the import transaction...
Neither of the solutions is easy.
