Importing in Sales Header and Sales Line Table

Dear Experts,
I have some bulk orders to create.I am trying to import the information in Sales header and Sales Line table.

I have created 2 different Data ports for each table. I have already done the Sales Header Table import that's fine.

But when i import in for sales Line Table it shows import but when i check the order the Line part is still blank.

I am importing following fields for SALES LINE (TABLE 37).


"Document Type"

"Sell-to Customer No."

"Document No."

"Line No."

Type

"No."

"Location Code"

"Shortcut Dimension 1 Code"


Please advise if these fields are enough, or if i can do both tables together please let me know.

Thanks for the reference. But in that forum i still can't exactly get what fields he has imported for sales line table. By following that forum i tried to import the following fields now.

1.)Document No.

2.)Line No.

3.)Type

4.)No. (item Number)


But still it's showing the same even after importing these fields, in the sales line form it's still showing nothing.

Please advice!

Did you check Sales Line table?

yess i check the sales line table

it showing that line but the document type is coming sales quote,secondly the item number is also showing but it has not detected the description and other details from item table.

as in your first post, you should use Document Type also..are you validating the fields or not?

i took out the doucment type earlier now it's added back.

how can i validate fields?

when i import it's working fine. but under description it's not detecting the description of the item even though item number is showing under item number field.

If i manually put PCS in Unit of measure code field then it detects the details of item.

Check CallFieldValidate property of the fields selected..they should be in order as we enter in form following primary keys..

i have put calcvalidate on "No." field in dataport and also on unit of measure code. But still if i import the item number is displayed under No. field but description and item category field is not coming.
